Holden, Maine Couples Photos Shot Entirely on Film

In August J+A traveled to Maine to celebrate their one-year anniversary and wanted to document their time here. They brought their record player and records, a vintage camera, and their dog, and we spent a few hours with them at their cabin in Holden, Maine, on the lake, photographing their day and their love. As Maine film couples photographers, we shot the whole session on 35mm and 120 film, in both color and black and white.

The rental cabin provided the perfect spot for dreamy film couples photos. The light was perfect throughout the day and provided the soft light that J was looking for when she asked about the session on film. They spread out their records and chose a few to listen to, A photographed J with his vintage film camera and they hung out with their dog and went out on the lake. Such a cool spot!
