An Intimate Coastal Elopement at Reid State Park | Maine Coast Golden Hour Magic
This was one of our favorite elopements that we’ve done! We met up with J + J in the afternoon to document their first look at the beautiful Grey Havens Inn. The Inn is a beautiful bed and breakfast overlooking the ocean where they were staying for the weekend and we had the most perfect fall weather! After their first look we headed to one of our favorite spots, Reid State Park for their ceremony. This is one of the best locations because there is SO much to work with and it is just so beautiful and quintessentially Maine! We went up to the top of a little cliff overlooking the ocean and their ceremony was officiated by the wonderful Lindsay from Officially Yours. Their ceremony was so sweet and personal! After they said “I do,” we were able to walk around and do portraits of the two of them in the gorgeous light. We always love having the time to walk around with our couples and create art and get to know them. In the evening before the sun set they popped a bottle of champagne and set up a little blanket on the beach and had a whoppie pie and champagne. It was perfect! We really love these intimate celebrations and can’t wait to do more!
