Portland, Maine City Hall wedding

We LOVE a micro wedding and we also adore the Portland City Hall building, it is so gorgeous and has so many cool spots for photos. We met up with Rebecca and Owen for their micro wedding recently and they had their first look on the staircase and then read private vows to each other, which were very emotional and beautiful. They had a ceremony with their closest family and friends in the State Room (such a beautiful room!) and then all went over to the Press Hotel for cocktail hour and dinner. Unfortunately it started pouring as soon as their ceremony ended up but we did get to do a few photos outside and we actually love a moody, rainy wedding day!

The cool thing about a micro wedding/elopement is that you can do wahtever you like, invite as many people as you’d like or keep it private, walk around the city for photos without the pressure of a full wedding day schedule, go for drinks or food at any of the amazing spots in Portland, the possibilities are endless!
