2017 Year in Review | Maine Wedding Photographers

We were so fortunate this past year to have 18 weddings and 3 elopements from February to November! Our season took us all over Maine, from an elopement in the stunning Acadia National Park to Camden, York, Biddeford Pool, Buxton and out to islands like Great Diamond Island and Peaks, to venues in Rye, NY, Boston and several areas of New Hampshire.

As some of you already know we had a pretty tough year with Lyle's dad's many ups and downs with cancer throughout the peak of our season and then his passing in November. One thing that kept is going this summer in the midst of so much darkness in our personal lives was the incredible people that we worked with, their amazing support throughout that time and just being there to document a day filled with so much love and joy. Every year we push ourselves harder to create even better photos and this year was no exception--actually we welcomed the challenge as a distraction! Although we do our share of moody photos and get tons of emotional moments we wanted to showcase a shot from every wedding that showed nothing but joy and love between our clients. Thank you so much for working with us and being so willing to welcome us into your day to capture the intimacy and beauty and love, we consider it such an honor. Our calendar is filling up for 2018 (and already starting to get inquiries for 2019!) and we are really excited to kick off another great wedding season!
