A Year in the Life of Baby M | Maine Family Photographer

I have been so lucky to work with Miles and Miranda in the last year documenting their son M's first year. It was amazing to watch him grow and change and to get to know their family better.  The more I do these shoots with kids and families the more I realize how timeless they are and what a great gift to be able to give your kids when they are older too. I have talked with lots of our clients lately about what attracts them to our work and they love that the shoots are creative and not just in front of a boring backdrop with uncomfortable, traditional poses and forced smiles. I love watching families interact and being able to capture all of the moments, not just the smiley, happy ones either, and provide a snapshot in time for them to look back someday and remember who they were, what they looked like, what they were doing... So here are some of the shots that I took of Baby M over the last year (and there are so many more) up through his first birthday in September.
