"Art! Who comprehends her? With whom can one consult concerning this great goddess?" -Beethoven

We started Fidelio Photography in 2005, and the name comes from Beethoven's only opera Fidelio, composed in 1805. When thinking of a name for our company when wanted something that was both unique and combined our love of music and photography.

In 2007, we re-located to Portland, Maine where we opened a professional studio in our home. Our list of commercial clients includes local merchants, bands, artists, small business owners, jewelry designers and more.

Our goal is to provide artistic, unique images to our clients at affordable rates. One of the highest compliments that we receive continually from those we work with is how comfortable we make them feel and how easy we are to work with. In addition to photography, we spend time editing and re-touching. All photos are uploaded to a private gallery for client viewing and ordering from a professional photo lab.
