Our poor blog is so neglected lately… that is about to change very soon. I am going to try to start updating several times as week… we do so many shoots that SHOULD be here but finding the time to blog everything has been difficult. We’re working on it (and working on getting some help this summer to assist us with the demands of a growing business–a very awesome problem to have actually

I am excited to announce that I placed 3rd in the Quarter 4 WPJA contest in the Emotion category. The WPJA is the Wedding Photojournalist Association and is an organization I have been a member of for several years. There is an application process and they are selective about the members, you cannot simply pay to join unlike other sites. Four times a year there are contests for members to enter and I have placed several times in the past. My winning image this quarter comes from Alisha and Eric’s wedding!
We recently shot and styled the Spring issue of Portland Style Magazine and it was a blast and we are so proud of what we shot. It will be out in the Portland area around March 19 and we will have a blog post with more info and more of what we shot that day that didn’t make it into the magazine.
Finally, we are still booking weddings for 2010 and are now booking for 2011. We still have dates available for 2010 so please inquire with us to check on your date, especially if it is early in the summer like June or later in the fall or winter. We are booking pretty quickly for 2011 too. We are really excited for wedding season to begin (our first wedding is in Washington, DC!).
