Alisha and Eric’s Wedding | Maine Wedding Photography

If you read the last blog you’ll see their wedding took place on a beautiful, sunny day in August. Alisha and Eric’s wedding was the next day and they didn’t get quite so lucky. The day started out partly sunny with rain forecasted (thanks to a hurricane)–a LOT of rain. We made it through their outdoor ceremony but it started to pour immediately after we finished their portraits… pour is actually an understatement. Mid-way through their dinner the dance floor (outdoors under a tent) was under about 3″ of water and the power went out. Alisha and Eric were so calm the entire night as their awesome families helped out securing the tent and finding umbrellas.  The power came back soon after and they all rocked out to local band Sly Chi for the rest of the night.

Eric and Alisha were referred to us from former clients (love that!) and are so much fun. I also got a chance to know her better at a boudoir shoot we did (with the album presented secretly to Eric later that night) and she is so sweet and easy-going. We had a great day shooting their wedding and the rain and dramatic clouds actually turned out to be pretty cool. Thanks Eric and Alisha!!:)
