Dave & Taylor’s Wedding | Maine Wedding Photography

Date: August 1, 2009 / Ceremony and Reception: The Red Barn, South Berwick, ME / Cake: Dawn Kuhl (family friend) / Flowers: Kate Parker, Kate Parker Weddings / Hair & Makeup: Jessica Golding / Officiant: Dave’s father

Warning: I might overuse a lot of adjectives in this blog post… This wedding was ridiculous! And by ridiculous I mean completely awesome. We LOVE Dave and Taylor. You might remember them from their fun amusement park engagement session this summer (or their wedding preview)… we really connected with them and as I mentioned in that post Taylor and I emailed each other all the time up to the day of their wedding (and continue to email!)… They are both such nice people and if there was ever a wedding that was made for us to shoot, this one is one of them. D&T planned to see each other before the ceremony at a private reveal and then do all their bride/groom and bridal party photos before the ceremony–SUCH a good idea. Their ceremony and reception included lots of fun details (red, red, red!:)) and moments. I could probably ramble for a long time about how much I loved it all but the pics tell the story pretty well I think (had a hard time choosing for the blog!)… If you’re a bride planning a 2010/2011 wedding that is a bit different than the traditional wedding plleeaaaase get in touch with us because we love them (and I have lots of resources for unique, fun details, colors, etc…)!:)Thank you so much D&T (and your families) for being so great to work with. We can’t wait to see you guys again sometime soon!

ps: D&T’s wedding was chosen to be a part of something very cool which we will be able to share info on soon!;)

Ellie - So lovely, like always. I love those shoes as well.

Aktfotograf - If you are photographing in sunlight, try to position yourself so that the sun hits your subject from the side, this will give you nice ‘modeling’ and help create a 3D effect in the picture.

aaron - They look so happy! You did a great job capturing the emotion of the day! Really love the last portrait and the processional photo!

Megan - these are gorgeous shots. i love the one of the rings and all the little details :) beautiful.

Taylor - Jess – you and L covered our wedding more beautifully than we could have ever imagined! You helped to make our day the most amazing day ever and caught every moment (and then some!) It’s not everyday a wedding photographer would suggest an “American Gothic” pic, and we wouldn’t have had it any other way! We can’t thank you enough – you guys are absolutely amazing and we wish we could get married again just to hang out with you guys!!!! XOXO – Taylor and Dave (and family!)

Lesley - This wedding looks amazing. I love the way the red pops out at you in so many of the photos. Well done all.

Kate - Oh my goodness, these are beautiful. I just LOVE that last shot, and the ring shot is KILLER! Kudos!

Jess - Thanks sooo much everyone! We appreciate it!

Also @ Aktfotograf we actually have lots from all different angles from the ceremony, including the side ;)

Melynda Bean - I loved the old building. The color was amazing.
